This facial was a complete TREAT!

Treat's facial room is almost a best kept secret; but it is there, private and cozy in the back. Afterall, how could Treat not offer facials -- they offer the most wonderful skincare lines and to showcase them through facials is perfect. I like the feel of this little shop, they carry my favorite lines, many of which can only be found at Treat. Jamie, the owner, has done an amazing job bringing in lines such as Sharon Bolton Scents, Ole Henriksen and Arcona just to name a few.
So rather than relax with a foot scrub and then get a facial, Treat is more about shopping for the perfect gift for you or a friend and then getting a great facial. Kristina Allen was my esthetician and I loved her movements for the cleanse and the massage (I could tell she had additional training in technique as she wasn't doing just traditional movements.) She used Arcona products for my facial, which I really liked because it's one of my fave lines, but I have never gotten an Arcona specific facial. (Note to book a trip: Arcona has a spa in Santa Monica that looks divine!)
I liked the comfort of the facial room as well (I can't help but noticed these things!). The room felt cozy and fresh. I loved the scents and aromas of the products used in the facial. Kristina used White tea purifying cleanser, Cranberry Gommage to exfoliate, Kiwi clarifying peel and Eye Dew around my eyes. The scents were clean and fresh and the results of the facial left my skin feeling more hydrated with a dewey look. I have to say, this was my favorite facial this month! Treat is also a new Spa Defined member, so check out the photo tour and you'll see why I love it!
Lastly, Treat is located in one of my favorite little nooks in Santa Barbara -- the Arlington Plaza. The little area has so much character and there you will find Carlitos (many times the music of a live musician with a Spanish Guitar fills the air), Diani -- An adorable, high-end clothing boutique, Bella Dolce, Blossom Hair Studio and a Travel Agency. And just across the way is the historical Arlington Theatre.
Now ... go Treat Yourself!
